| The ultra modern plants
are equipped with the most modern machines, manufacturing
and testing facilities. The plant is having core competence
in In-house manufacturing of Base frames, Control Panels,
Fuel storage tanks, Acoustic Enclosures, Silent Generators,
Residential Silencers, as per the customer requirement.
For in plant material handling electrically operated (EOT)
overhead cranes are installed having consolidated capacity
of more than 30 tons. The machines will undergo stringent
manufacturing processes like Inspection of raw material,
Assembly of components, Testing, Painting, Marking and
Packing and Pre-despatch Inspection (PDI) before making
shipment to the end user. The plant is having various
sections like Office, Stores, Production, Electrical,
Fabrication, Machine shop, Testing and Quality Assurance
etc. which are operated by qualified and experienced personal. |

| The
state-of-the-art testing facility at Jeevan Diesels is
amongst the best in Asia, which includes 15 test points.
The machines undergo stringent quality assurance at raw
material stage and also at Assembly of components, Testing,
Painting, Packing and Pre-dispatch Inspection (PDI).
The state-of-the-art inspector friendly testing facility
comprises of resistive load bank. In a static water
tank of about one Lac Litre capacity electrodes are
immersed to achieve the required load. The electrodes
are moved up and down using special gear mechanism,
which ensures equal and balanced load on all the three
phases. By using water load, machines up to capacity
2000 KVA at unity power factor can be tested.
The testing panel comprises of digital meters of accuracy
±0.5, 3200 AMPS ACB. A computer with software
and a transducer is connected to record all the parameters
during the test cycle. This feature enables to record
and store all the electrical parameters viz., Line Voltages,
Line Currents, Frequency, Kilowatt, Power Factor etc.
at various load conditions for a minimum duration of
5 seconds. Each machine is tested for its performance
by applying load in steps of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% and
overload of 10% for its rated capacity about two hours.
While testing other parameters like Vibrations, Noise
Level, Temperature rise, Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC)
Insulation Resistance, HV test etc. are measured / carried
out using high precision instruments and observations
are recoded in test record sheets. In order to ensure
the quality of measuring instruments these meters are
calibrated periodically from reputed Laboratories. This
testing facility is rated as the best for DG machines
testing in the country by Engineers India Ltd. and many
Govt., Public, and Private Testing Agencies, Consultants
and Customers.
