AUTOMATIC MAINS FAILURE CONTROL PANELS

Auto Synchronising & Auto Load Sharing Panels at Siemens Instruments, Bangalore.
The automatic mains failure control panel is designed to constantly monitor the mains supply. Upon full or partial failure of the mains, the control panel will automatically start the generator, and supply the load until the mains supply is fully restored. The control panel will then disconnect the generator from the load – reconnecting the mains supply – and allow the generator to run off load for cooling. The control panel will then be ready for the next mains failure.

The standard automatic mains failure control panel is a self contained unit which is supplied loose for floor or wall mounting adjacent to the customers mains switchboard or Alternatively, the panel may be fitted directly to the generator.
The spilt system automatic mains failure control panel or automatic transfer switch is similar to the standard system except that the control module, instruments and indicators are mounted on the generator and the changeover contactors are fitted in a separate panel which is normally installed adjacent to the mains switchboard.
MANUAL OR AUTOMATIC SYNCHRONISING WITH AUTOMATIC LOAD SHARING
The control panel is normally divided into vertical sections with one cubicle for each generator and one cubicle containing the combined output busbars and combined output circuit breaker when fitted.
